Love and Worship

Here I present Scripture songs for my First Love and those He calls us to love.

[All Scripture is NKJV unless otherwise noted, and the songs are presented in the order of the Bible.]

Ps16.11b.mp3

[Psalm 16:11b ESV]

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 16:11b

[Repeat - as often as you'd like.]

[You can sing this song at a fast speed, or a much slower one, or one of each as I do in this recording.]

Ps18.1Quiet.mp3

[Psalm 18:1 NASB]

“I love You, O Lord, my strength.”

[Repeat twice]

Psalm 18 verse 1

Ps28.7.mp3

[Psalm 28:7]

The Lord is my strength and my shield;

My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

And with my song I will praise Him.

Psalm 28 verse 7

[You can substitute the word "trusts" from the NIV for "trusted."]

Zeph3.17NKJV.mp3

[Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV]

"...The Lord your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Zephaniah 3:17

[Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV & Strong's Concordance]

"...The LORD your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing."  Repeat last line.

He will [spin around] over you...

Zephaniah 3:17

[Strong's concordance, (c) 1984 by Thomas Nelson Publishers,

says that the second "rejoice" can mean

"to spin round (under the influence of any violent emotion)"]

Romans12.1-2ESV.mp3

Romans 12:1 and 2 ESV

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 12:1 and 2 ESV  YouTube video.

If you right-click the video (or click settings on the video on your phone) you can loop the video, and it will play over and over so you can memorize it. Mouth the words as you listen until you can sing along. May you be abundantly blessed as you learn, review, and retain it forever!

1Cor13.4-8aNIV.mp3

 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a NIV

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails....

1Cor13.4-8a.mp3

First Corinthians 13:4-8a [NKJV]

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy;

love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

does not behave rudely,

does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails.

But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
